Thankfully this isn’t the factory I was in earlier. It’s been around for as long as I can remember, but I hope I never have to go in it. Even from a distance it smells. Frankly, this is as close as I ever want to get.

I can’t always avoid the day-star. Sometimes, just sometimes, its blinding light reaches me even deep within my subterranean shelter. Ok, actually I just had to do a morning shift not too long ago, and this was the factory I was patrolling. Nifty light beams were shining down into the building from the overhead fans, so I snapped a few pics.

Gotta eat. Beer batter fish fillets, shoestring french fries, and popcorn shrimp. Add a good amount of ketchup and you’ve got a delicious meal for 460 cals. The picture is annoyingly blurry, but let’s just say I didn’t want to waste much time fooling with my cellphone.

I have no idea why the Twitter Updater plugin author has a picture of a woman’s shadow (presumably hers) at the top of the page, but it amused me so I thought I might as well give it a try. I was wearing a uniform, so the weird hump on my shoulder is actually my radio.

There’s a small creek out back behind my apartment I wanted to snap a picture of. We’ve built a small bridge over the creek and into the woods some time ago. Sitting on the bridge and listening to the water running below can be quite relaxing at times. I’m rather surprised the camera captured as much detail as it did, but to get the full effect you need motion and sound.
