Nothing like finding unexpected loot. Every good adventure game player knows, it pays to check unexpected places. What we have here is a cool $10 bill hanging precariously from a twig in a drain, waiting to be either grasped or lost forever by those who would accept the challenge. How it got there is a mystery, but I knew I had to make it mine.

I won’t even pretend to know what kind of plant or flower this is. All I know is I found it growing this year, and it’s apparently doing quite well. It looks pretty nice, but amusingly enough my cellphone doesn’t seem to have the ability to capture it’s real color. It’s actual more of an orange with a reddish tint, but it looks like a mixture of red hues here. Every once in awhile, nature still pwns tech.

Some ivy I’ve got growing outside the apartment. Honestly I know nothing about plants, and I never water or feed it, but it springs up every year right on cue. My kind of plant. Although it was just a small starter years ago, the stuff is spreading just about everywhere these days. I certainly don’t mind, I think it looks great.
