Talk Like a Pirate Day

Welcome to the new site. A select few may remember Rirath.com, now known as TwiddleGeek.com. Right now things are in a bit of a early setup phase while I work out a good template, make some customizations, and get some content up. This’ll take time, so in the mean time I’ll make due with what I’ve got. Don’t be surprised if things change frequently in these early days, and please forgive a few rough edges.

The new site will be what’s known as an “anime blog”. Rirath.com became a sort of “review blog” toward the end, but I felt reviews weren’t enough anymore. I needed more, and I think an anime blog may be just that. To be a little different though, this will also be a gaming blog. All of my consoles are hooked up through a video capture card, so I’ll be adding screenshots of games and progress reports of gameplay just the same.

As with any blog of this sort, watch out for spoilers. If you really don’t want to know anything about a specific series, don’t go to that category or read those posts. I’ll try to leave out any major spoilers, or at least hide the text so it has to be highlighted to read or something. No shots of the main character biting the dust or anything like that. And on the subject of shots, mouse over them for the title tags. I’ll try to think up decent captions whenever I can.
