I was playing around with the book Keys to Drawing at work, doing the various exercises. This one has us scrunch up our hand with the fingers pointing toward oneself, and draw it exactly as seen. It’s also instructed to use restatements rather than erasing, so the messy look is on purpose. Doodled it out with a ball point pen.

Evil Avatar is going to turn me into a comment whore. Looks like my doodles went over fairly well again at EvAv, gaining such adjectives as “nucking futs”, “gorgeous”, and “holy sh*t”. I’m glad people liked it.

Thanks to a funny, random thread over at Evil Avatar called MS Paint Bears, I ended up making this random doodle in MS Paint of all things. It’s basically just a scribble, but it came out fairly nice and went over well in the thread. Not every day something I doodle gets called “so f*cking good it hurts.”
