The coloring on this one came out great. Nice and bright, lots of visual pop to it. I think this image marked the turning point of when I became fully confident in my CG skills. I’m especially proud of the skintone, skirt, and hair. Blonde hair isn’t very easy for me to work with, but it came out great.

Since I wasn’t using lineart this time, I simply filled in the base colors over the sketch and worked with the highlights and shadows until it started to take shape again. It was certainly different, and I wasn’t sure if I could make it work at all. The hardest part was probably her hair, it took several passes of shadows and highlights to make it well enough defined. I also added a few extra strands for style.

I tried to go for some really nice, bright colors here. The shading on the legs took me a little while to be happy with, and the torso was a bit of work as well. I really like her eyes and the subtle shading on the hair. Not my best, but a nice little fanart regardless.

I wanted the color tones to still be bright, but slightly darker than what I usually go with. Everything has a nice glossy shine, and I tried to give the face a bit more expression. The skin was a bit of a hassle, especially working around all the outfit details, but otherwise things went fairly smoothly. I like how complete the image looks in general.
