I must admit the game’s rather drab dungeons tend to get a little repetitive after awhile, but the story and the characters are keeping me playing. Along the way we’ve met even more travelers, each with their own goals and methods. Amusing dialog helps keep things going too, like the option to select “I forgot I had one…” to the question “What is your wish?” Another good example is the option to say “I’m sorry, could you repeat that?” to a dying man’s last words.
I’m a bit mixed on the BP mana/skill point system though. While it’s great that attacking restores BP, doing special attacks that consume BP also restores BP at the same time. With many basic BP attacks this simply means you can use it every time without worry. While some unity attacks have high BP cost, it still seems like more strategy could have been had if many BP attacks didn’t basically recharge themselves. It would have forced players to use normal attacks more often, at least.
